. .Q: Does the WCF WS-Security support Kerberos authentication? Does the WCF WS-Security support Kerberos authentication? I need to know this because I am using a J2EE web application and the WCF is going to be consumed by this app. A: This is a valid question and there are two answers for it. Yes. WCF WS-Security provides Kerberos authentication for its WS-* protocols. Kerberos authentication is the only one WS-Security supports. No. WS-Security defines the authentication options available for WS-* protocol, it doesn't provide any options for authentication. Why? A client might request to send WS-Security protected messages to a server and the server might be unwilling or unable to support the kind of authentication they require. The WS-Security protocol is not a security protocol, it is a protocol describing authentication options. That's it. Olfactory event-related potentials in an animal model of apathy: the effects of 2,4,5-trichlorophenoxyacetic acid, a competitive antagonist of GABA(A) receptors, on the mismatch negativity in rats. Rats were treated with 2,4,5-trichlorophenoxyacetic acid (2,4,5-T), a competitive antagonist of GABA(A) receptors, (0, 8, 16, 32 mg/kg), prior to exposure to one tone and mismatch negativity (MMN) was measured in olfactory event-related potential (o-ERP) components. The MMN components were evaluated as a marker of the short-latency habituation. The effects of the 2,4,5-T treatment on the behavioural habituation to the olfactory stimulus were also investigated. Rats were presented with a 10 min olfactory conditioning. After habituation to the stimulus, a MMN was recorded at 100 ms, 200 ms and 400 ms after olfactory stimulus onset. In the condition with odour control, MMN disappeared at the late phase (400 ms). In the 2,4,5-T treated rats, MMN was larger than that in the control group, and the habituation was significantly suppressed. The results suggest that the GABAergic system is involved in the inhibitory learning effect. The 2,4,5-T treatment enhanced MMN, indicating that an abnormality in the GABAergic system in the o
